Tony , William Byrne my Grandad played with Fitzroy in 1917. His brother Challie in 1916 l cannot find a photo anywhere . I was 5 when you lick a place Kick at The Brunswick Street Ground . My dad also a William Byrne and the Byrne ( Irish stock) lived in Nappier St a Ongerallo place Kick away. Dad played his Last game of Cricket at 75 years young.The Byrne family have won many bets because of your Goal! My name Is Tommy Byrne still playing plenty of sport at 66 .
