Stereo Stories Live in Geelong: tickets going fast

Stereo Stories is kicking off 2016 in style: our first gig of the year is at the exciting new Geelong Library and Heritage Centre.

There have already been 100 bookings for this free event: 90 minutes of music and memoir on Sunday afternoon 7 February, in The High Ground, the Library’s delightful fifth-floor major event space.

Almanackers Vin Maskell and Smokie Dawson are part of the Geelong gig, which once again features writers and musicians onstage together. The writers read their stories about a particular song, with the band weaving in and out of the stories at various points.

Sunday 7 February 2016
2pm to 4pm. (Show starts at 2pm sharp.)
Geelong Library and Heritage Centre
51 Little Malop Street, Geelong

Book online via the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre.

Stereo Stories has dipped its toes into Soundcloud, where you can hear Smokie Dawson, Rick Kane and others in performance at last year’s Wiliamstown Literary Festival: backed by The Stereo Stories Band, Smokie reads his Before Too Long story and Rick his memoir about Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?

About Vin Maskell
