Stereo Stories’ final show for 2017 – this Saturday at Newport Bowls Club

Almanackers Smokie Dawson and Rick Kane will be front and centre at the final Stereo Stories concert for 2017. They’ll be amongst half-a-dozen writers sharing the stage with The Stereo Stories Band next Saturday night at the Newport Bowls Club, Melbourne.

It will be Andy Griffiths’ third show with us, after gigs at the Williamstown Literary Festival in 2016 and 2017. Andy will be channelling his inner-rockstar via a story of his own and one by his good friend, Markus Zusak, author of The Book Thief.

Come along and enjoy an evening of warmth, laughter, tears and some politics, mixed in with songs by Culture Club, The Smiths, The Church, Arcade Fire, Neil Young and more. (The Stereo Stories Band is versatile!)

Stereo Stories thanks the Newport Bowls Club and the Newport Fiddle & Folk Club for their generous support in putting on our final show for the year.

Tickets at the door:  $15, 7.30pm to 10pm, Newport Bowls Club, 4 Market St, Newport.

Dinner available from 6pm: you can book a dinner table on 9391 1212.
