Rounds 8-10 – Haiku Bob: footy frenzy

no goals —
with this virus, what you can’t see
could kill you

masked-up —
no way to put a good face
on these defeats

pandemic —
the long queue
to kick goals against us

new testing targets —
another shot for goal
drifts wide

footy frenzy —
I fall asleep
on the couch

rising death toll —
our team starts
to flatline

isolation —
all I think about
is that Daicos goal
