Round 6 – Haiku Bob: no tomorrow
preparing
for the worst-case scenario —
we take on Hawthorn
cases surge —
we start like
there’s no tomorrow
lockdown —
the effort not to let fly
at the umps
dewy surface —
the dog licks
my bald spot
last quarter —
closing my eyes
I miss our only goal
win in lockdown —
the roar
of the fake crowd
ISO footy —
I mull over the win
with the dog
