Round 4 – Haiku Bob: The slide

As if they know

I’m nervous

— nervy start

Night shower

for a moment Pendlebury

walks on water

Approaching winter

coughing up

another goal

Falling leaves

the full-forward

I didn’t even know was there

Intermittent showers —

the odd patch

of good play

Rain sets in…

the slide continues

down the ladder

Passing train —

our team going nowhere

fast
