first-half deluge
the captain
keeps us afloat
wet day
the trample of feet
in the goal square
downpour
defenders busy
filling holes
heavy rain
hard to see the end
of our slump
one way traffic
a dead branch caught
in the stream
another injury
the coach’s disfigured
face
after the rain
a goal lights up
our chances
last quarter
time slows down
the winning goal
spring puddles
players drink up
a surprise win
