Round 21 – Haiku Bob: winter comforts

first quarter moon
drinking in
the packed stadium

dripping
with winter rain—
the old grandstand

rain in the forecast goal for goal

rising moon
the outstretched hands
of the high-flyers

our noses in front
half of the moon’s face
lit up

winning streak continues…
down to my last
blood-pressure pill

winter comforts—
last night’s win
all day
