day moon—
our whole team too
has overslept
stencilled leaves…
holes everywhere
in the middle
squashed hotdog
under my seat
Collingwood’s backline
jagged sunbeams—
Murphy back with the flight
pierces the pack
winter afternoon
the darkness of the shadow
of the grandstand
perhaps all
is not lost…
Daicos
change in pitch
as we hit the lead
the Magpie army
