Round 16 – Haiku Bob: small talk

poking through clouds Suns take an early lead

after rain
petals gliding over mud
the Daicos boys

Rankine folds himself
into a goal

three goals down
we run out
of small talk

the star defender
clutches his knee

night dew—
the Daicos boys
part the Suns

another one
that almost got away…
winter star
