Round 16 – Gold Coast v Collingwood: Haiku Bob – Shades of Sunlight
chimney smoke
winding through trees
Daicos in traffic
hitting the lead
and falling behind
. . . shades of sunlight
scattered sunshine
the defender bobs up
and kicks a goal
Daicos words fail me
another close finish
my hand
on my chest
shorter days
our comeback
falls short
soothing the loss that goal
