Round 16 – Gold Coast v Collingwood: Haiku Bob – Shades of Sunlight

chimney smoke
winding through trees
Daicos in traffic

hitting the lead
and falling behind
. . . shades of sunlight

scattered sunshine
the defender bobs up
and kicks a goal

Daicos words fail me

another close finish
my hand
on my chest

shorter days
our comeback
falls short

soothing the loss that goal
