Round 11 – Haiku Bob: Like no other

floodlit ‘G
the surrounding
darkness

turning elms
one by one each player emerges
in gold

autumn leaves
wherever you look
Pendlebury

Pendles
sidesteps
a lullaby

MCG hush . . .
a quiet
like no other

fireworks fog
hiding everything
but people’s smiles

dawn still one star from last night
