Round 10 – Collingwood v Adelaide: Haiku Bob – silent rain

first autumn rain
Pendlebury
glides by

autumn chill
a Houston bomb
lights a fire

which way the wind blows
Sidey’s hair tells us
nothing

from screen to screen Bobby’s goal

back-to-back goals
to take the lead –
silent rain

autumn leaves
more and more paths
to goal

autumn dusk
the substitute glows
under floodlights
