Reclink Community Cup Melbourne – This Sunday

This Sunday is the annual Reclink Community Cup between the Megahertz and the Rockdogs. The Megahertz are made up of community radio station members from Triple R and PBS while the Rockdogs are members of the music community.

The game is fun-filled day for the whole family with an entertaining game of footy and a numerous bands playing throughout the day. The live music only adds to the atmospshere. This year sees Spiderbait, The Peep Tempel, Jen Cloher and REMI all performing live.

The Reclink Community Cup not only provides an awesome day out for spectators, it also gives back to the community. Reclink Australia supports some of the communities most vulnerable and isolated people including youth at risk, those experiencing mental illness, people with disability, the homeless, and people tackling alcohol and other drug issues, and social and economic hardship.

Thankfully the Reclink Community Cup has always made the mix of footy and music a beautiful one. Beginning in 1993, the event has grown year in, year out and now gathers 10,000 spectators and raises over $100,000 a year for Reclink Australia.
