spring drizzle
faint stirrings
of a comeback
clouded moon
for a moment
right where we want them
buds the length of the branch
our goals too far
apart
the moment
this could really lead
fumble
two bites Buddy marks the beginning of the end
falling magnolias
Cloke’s kick
could go anywhere
spring clouds
distort the moon
we snag late goals
About rob scott
Rob Scott (aka Haiku Bob) is a peripatetic haiku poet who calls Victoria Park home. He writes haiku in between teaching whisky and drinking English, or something like that.
HB – beautiful. Swap Buddy for Pav and Cloke for Hawkins and this could have been about the Cats v Freo.
I might be lacking specificity Dips. I haven’t seen more than 30 seconds of highlights of this game. Was teaching (haiku, as it turns out) while it was on, and wasn’t inclined to sit through a replay. Will be camped in front of the teev tomorrow, for the live telecast with Swedish commentary on Eurosport!
