Junior Almanac Netball – Under 13E Parkville comp Round 1 – Brunswick NC Penguins: Hurricane

A small army of netball -types descended on the Parkville State Netball and Hockey Centre last windy Saturday for Round 1 of the Spring season.

Players, coaches, umpires, supporters, admin staff and others – all there for each other – and to play a game.

As team co-manager of the Under 13E Brunswick Penguins, I aim to encourage players to write match reports. We’ll see how we go.

For this Round 1, I found a volunteer writer close to home.

Here is Steph’s story of Round 1. Steph is 11-years-old and my eldest daughter. It’s her first Almanac story:

(While you’re there, check out other writing on the Junior Almanac).
