Haiku Bob – Round 6: glimpses of me
May 1, 2019 by 1 Comment
minute’s silence
my daughter sneaking glimpses
of me
falling leaves
floating down
from a hanger
working through stuff
Pendlebury finds
a shortcut
half-time
the capacity crowd reaches
for its phones
swirling breeze
snaking our way
toward goal
autumn wind
bit by bit our lead
dwindles
nail biter
the final siren
plunges through the crowd

More than just a game
teacherly Nathan reminds.
Shame on all the boos.
