August 17, 2018 by Leave a Comment
under a closed roof no spark
the quiet
after another goal
to them
behind me
in the sparse crowd a man
moaning
late winter
eventually our team
clicks into gear
first buds
parts of our game
emerging
it always eventually
comes back to you
five unanswered goals
sunset lingers
so too DeGoey’s
purple patch
