Haiku Bob – Round 20: beautiful and all
heading to the ‘G
the same smoke
on my jacket
in need of spring
a brief purple patch
in front of goal
it’s beautiful and all
the late winter sun
but Grundy’s goal
10 goals clear
she licks pie sauce
from every finger
predictable win
I hug her anyway
my only child
percentage booster
still I didn’t win
the lottery
lingering winter
beating the bottom team
barely registering
