Haiku Bob – Round 16: light years
July 13, 2017 by Leave a Comment
final siren –
still hope
for me
full moon –
light years away
from a flag
empty nest –
no one to kick to
at full-forward
grey clouds –
Collingwood neither black
or white
MCG twilight –
the gathering gloom
in the coaches box
clouds roll in
our slender lead
disappears
though I know
it’s coming the jolt
of the siren
