Haiku Bob – Round 16 – dusk fills the air
winter sunlight
a skied shot for goal
just carries the line
soft squawk
of the seagull
a behind
outstretched arms
of the beanpole…
clouds move
afternoon stroll
accompanied by the echo
of the stadium
winter shower
the Footy Record becomes
my daughter’s hat
changeable weather
we lose our early lead
and get it back
floodlit shadows
dusk fills the air
with a last gasp win
