Haiku Bob – Round 14 – out of the blue

pale sun
struggling to break through
their defensive line

icy wind
the sculptured bodies
of footy players

solstice
not playing that well
or that bad

dead leaves
clinging stubbornly –
they get a goal back

overcast –
out of the blue
a speccy

tearing wind –
not one but both
hamstrings

how a win
over the arch enemy
absorbs my troubles
