Haiku Bob – Round 10 – Same old moon

 

watching the game ~

soon settling into my fear

of losing

 

 

 

end to end ~

the Sherrin threads

the night

 

 

 

late autumn

the forward line

in pieces

 

 

 

on the sideline

injured players

glow in the gloom

 

 

 

half moon ~

the joy and the pain

of a close finish

 

 

 

same old moon ~

we give up

an early lead

 

 

 

autumn darkness ~

our latest defeat

has the run of the house
