Finals Week 2 – Haiku Bob – a bit of life ends

season ending loss—
the sourdough starter
smells like vomit

two metres apart
and the rest—
no one picks up Ablett

falling way behind—
the four walls
close in

sometimes
it’s good to be alone—
semi-final loss

a bit of life ends and ends badly

despite the loss
my head still in the clouds—
whisky

from today
one less nook of cheer—
this itchy beard

I felt the walls closing too. Urrghh. Well put, but painful, Rob.
