For a long time it was a four horse race. But with Nadal out of the 2013 Australian open, Federer, Djokovic and Murray seem to be the likely contenders. But that doesn’t mean upsets can’t happen. I, for one, like to root for the underdog. I’d like to see an unseeded player defy the odds and prove my infographic wrong. But for the meantime I can rest in peace knowing that the stats are interesting and the Aussie open will continue to delight and surprise us each year.
