Ahh, the Adelaide Test.
Lots going on this week: the first anniversary of PJ Hughes’ death, the first day/night pink ball Test, the first Test in the post-Johnson era, a full moon, Australia 1-0 New Zealand with one to play, SE Marsh back in the Australian side, Footy Almanac 2015 Adelaide book launch, the Almanac cricket game.
Amongst it all will be writers. And from afar, writers.
Let’s set up a rough schedule to spread the effort and ensure we cover each day’s play of the Test.
Day 1, Fri 27: Citrus Bob & D Brown &
Day 2, Sat 28: Citrus Bob & J Butler &
Day 3, Sun 29: Citrus Bob & S Black &
Day 4, Mon 30: Citrus Bob &
Day 5, Tue 1: Citrus Bob &

will be there each day in my role for ABC Rural and will have a report about something!
Do my normal coverage as “an old fart” and love for the game of Test Cricket.
Citrus
Will be there with all the other pinkies!

I’ll be there in the flesh Day 1. Hopefully the writing muse will trump the beer muse.
That’s superb, Citrus.
What a week you have ahead of you. Brilliant.
D Brown – i’m given to understand that it’s possible for those muses to work side by side. May it be a wonderful day there. Thanks.

Put me down for Day 2. And probably more as I’ll have a bit of time next week.
Cheers
J Butler.
Excellent news.
Popped you down for Day 2 (above).
Of course, like the Australian dressing room door to SE Marsh, the door is always open.
EVERYONE welcome any time.
Variety of stories and viewpoints here is itself a highlight.
I’m willing to make my cricket-writing debut for day 3.
I need to branch out my writing portfolio from just Richmond and netball!
Very good Sarah.
Your Richmond and netball form has been outstanding.
We need to arrange some kind of a hat presentation ceremony – perhaps with P Flynn.
Good on you for having a crack.
