Hello John. You have tricked me with one, but former opening bowling partnership Alan Connolly and Graham McKenzie are there. Being local I see Allan around regularly, but wonderful to see “Garth” make the trek across from WA with John Inverarity for Redders send off. The third has me scratching.
Hi Rob. Yes, that’s spot on. The third cricketer has recently moved your way., retiring to one of the Bellarine villages, from Melbourne. He is also a West Ausralian but has had a stellar academic career in Victoria. He is a cousin of a former Geelong FC skipper. Those who enjoy Almanac lunches know him well. He played grade cricket in Perth. I must ask him a little more about that. P. Flynn et al may help you out…
