Almanackers aplenty at 2015 Willy Lit Fest – get your tickets now

More than a few Almanackers, and friends of The Almanac,  will feature at this year’s Williamstown Literary Festival, from Friday 12 June to Sunday 14 June.

On the Saturday morning Anson Cameron and Gideon Haigh are part of It Happened In A Holden, followed by Steven Carroll discussing his novels, especially his latest Forever Young.

On Saturday afternoon Professor Robert Pascoe speaks with Barrie Cassidy about Cassidy’s book Private Bill: In Love and War.

Saturday evening will see Vin Maskell hosting Stereo Stories Live. Amongst the writers (and musicians) are Rick Kane, Smokie Dawson, Nick Gadd and Lucia Nardo.  (Vin is also hosting the Swimming In Ink session on the Friday evening.)

On Sunday  David Astle is presenting Cluetopia,  Anson Cameron is speaking with John Harms about Anson’s new novel The Last Pulse, and John is on panel about writing  for magazines, journals and websites.

And Paul Mitchell will be part of La Mama Poetica on Sunday afternoon.

Other guests over the weekend include Helen Garner, Graeme Simsion, Alice Pung, Hannie Rayson, Andy Griffiths and many more.
