Originally scheduled to be played in 2021 but then postponed due to the Covid pandemic, rugby league’s World Cup will be played in England starting on Saturday. Men’s, women’s and wheelchair competitions will be be played throughout the rest of October and into November with the finals to be contested on November 18 (wheelies) and 19 (women’s and men’s).
