Almanac Rugby League: The 2022 All Stars clashes
Saturday evening heralds the start of the 2022 rugby league season with the annual Maori All Stars v Indigenous All Stars clashes at CommBank Stadium in Sydney. The Women’s match will kick-off at 5.20pm before the Men’s game follows at 8.10pm (AEDT).
In last year’s clashes, the Men’s game ended in a 10-10 draw while the Maori Women dominated their match 24-0. As usual, this year’s games will showcase both experienced players getting back into the swing for another season as well as a number of up-and-coming young guns looking to show their wares to a bigger audience.
