About Colin Ritchie
Retired teacher who enjoys following the Bombers, listening to music especially Bob Dylan, reading, and swimming.

I love this poem, you can almost smell the bog and peat in his words and tone.
I was fortunate to attend an exhibition while in Dublin recently (https://www.nli.ie/en/udlist/current-exhibitions.aspx?article=0ebd1d65-6087-4f38-a2a0-467de598b745)
And I do love the inscription on his gravestone: Walk on air against your better judgement.

how wonderful. Captures my own feeling of inadequacy when I remember how adept the men who went before me were with tools and with earth and the seasons etc. And here I am holding a pen. I better get to digging.
One of my favourites too Col. I echo the sentiments of RK and AJC.
