Almanac Music: The Flatlanders – ‘Treasure of Love’
The Flatlanders are an iconic Texas based trio made up of Butch Hancock, Joe Ely, and Jimmie Dale Gilmour who have been performing together for over fifty years.
Their new album, Treasure of Love is their first collection of newly recorded music in twelve years finds them ‘in classic form, serving up a rollicking collection of twang-fuelled, harmony-laden performances full of wry humour and raw heartbreak’.
