Almanac Music: Stereo Stories at VU next Thursday

The Stereo Stories caravan heads to Victoria University next Thursday evening, 30 July.

The 90-minute gig kicks off at 7pm and will include Almanackers Smokie Dawson, Rick Kane, Matthew Naqvi and MC/director Vin Maskell, along with Zoe Krupka, Lucia Nardo, Fiona Price and Rijn Collins.

Stereo Stories Live is a compelling combination a  of story and song – of stories inspired by songs. As writers read their stories, the band weaves in and out of the narrative. The  show has been a hit at the Williamstown Literary Festivals and Newport Folk Festivals the past two years.

The  VU gig will feature stories inspired by Massive Attack, Nirvana, Paul Kelly, Johnny Cash, Dylan, Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Marlene Dietrich, and more.

Thursday 30 July, 7pm sharp
VU Bar, Building M, Footscray Park Campus, Ballarat Rd.
Tickets: $15/$10. Please book via VU.
