Having acquitted themselves admirably in the previous week against the 2019 Regional premiers, Ainslie’s next opponent was the 2019 Community premiers, ANU Griffins. Sadly for Ainslie, they were unable to carry momentum from their performance against Riverina, suffering their 5th consecutive 10+ goal loss against ANU.

ANU Griffins  4.1  7.3  8.5  12.7 – 79
Ainslie Tricolours  0.1  0.1  1.1    1.1 – 7
