BULLS PODCAST

The Bulls Podcast talks join all things Pomborneit CC every week. Brent Noonan, Narelle Place and Dave Murphy all featured as co-hosts in December. You can find all episodes of the Bulls Podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

ABC GRAND NATIONAL

The club, in particular our women’s teams, feature on ABC Radio Saturday morning sports show ‘Grand National’. In December the hosts Catherine Murphy and Tony Armstrong spoke to Grace Lee, Jessica Moulden and Samantha LaFranchi. Make sure to tune into ABC Melbourne or ABC Grandstand on digital radio around 11.50am each Saturday. It’s worth tuning in just for the Pomborneit theme song they’ve come up with!

12th MAN CLUB

The club’s coterie group, the ’12th Man Club’ is doing a brilliant job raising funds and engaging supporters. Now with well over 40 members, it’s a great time to join in on the fun, contact Churchy or a committee member for info on how to be involved.

Comments

  1. Brilliant as always,Luke-The commentary of Gavin’s hatrick the highlight made,Bill Lawrys enthusiasm pale in to insignificance

  2. An excellent wrap up, as always

  3. Kevin Densley says

Great grassroots, stuff Luke! Reminds me of my brief bush cricket career!

  4. Love the mullet on young Fleming

Hope Janelle’s career continues as Nathan Lyon’s did, having also taken a wicket first test delivery

Some handy Sri Lankan all rounders in your ones I see.

Good to see Reynold, L still knocking up big scores in the 2s

Congrats to Walshy’s debut wicket too

Who are your traditional rivals/grudge match Luke?

    Sean

  5. Luke Reynolds says

    G’day Sean,

Camperdown CC are probably our biggest rivals, we play them annually for the Graham Hillman Shield, an important game for both clubs. Some other rivalry’s are more recent in existence, while other rivals from days gone by no longer exist or play in different competitions now.

Harry Fleming already has the mullet of the year title all sown up!

  6. The Pombo Green v Pombo Gold rivalries were the best Luke.
Is Simpson in Divison 2 the biggest long-time rival, I suppose apart from yourself in that team, nobody played in TSCA.
