-You’re having a mid-life crisis, Tom.
-It’s just a diet, Kate.
-It’s a midlife crisis.
-I’ve never been on a diet and I never will. Life is about enjoying it; otherwise… what’s the point?
-Look, Tom. Everything in moderation. Don’t deny yourself. Chocolate, alcohol, anything… moderation is the key. Enjoy it. It’s life.

We 14 Aug, 2019  #99

Park bench scene.
-Oh well there’s carrot, parsnip, turnip, swede… potato… all the things that don’t taste great on their own – celery- but when all together this soup is amazing.
-Yeah I made a batch on Sunday. That will see me through the week.
-And what are these?
-Oh, I sprinkle these on top. They’re candy walnuts.

    ER, arguing with a robot about whether you actually did what you know you just did seems to sum up a lot about the sort of society we are building for ourselves.

    And Abbey Road still goes ok after 50 years.
