Almanac Footy Tipping Comp 2017 Results

Thanks to all the tippers this year.

As is tradition the Almanac Footy Tipping comp finished at the end of the home and away season.

So here are our winners:

A big congratulations to our overall winner is Piffy (Ben Baudinette) who tipped magnificently – as a Dees fan. I reckon he finished in the top 300 or so out of half a million tippers. (cash prize to come)

The kids’ winner is Funnybone Joe (Joe Coleman) who is in Grade 2 with our Anna at Merri Creek Primary School (prize to come)

The teams winner is the Swans team – top four Swans tipsters were two kids – Raph and Xavier Giuliano (part of the Swans-loving Guiliano family), and Almanac stalwarts Craig Dodson and Keiran Croker. (A North Fitzroy Arms dinner voucher – or equivalent – is coming your way – let me know your postal address). The team, at any given stage, is made up of the top 4 tippers who identify with that club. Geelong’s best four led for a long time but the Swans came storming home. Hopefully next season we can make a bit more of that with a weekly email on progress – we just need tipsters to identify themselves with a club logo. More on that next year.

Again, great tipping from Piffy.

Thanks to everyone for playing.

The Tip the Top 8 winner will be announced at the Grand Final lunch.

Regards
JTH

PS If you haven’t paid your $10 it’s not too late. Kids are free.
