Almanac Footy: The Oz Footy Junior (U18s) Team of the Year.
I could have posted this a month or two ago, but here goes.
There may still be a Grand Final day juniors’ game that might upgrade another Touk Miller, as did that particular game in 2014, but I’ve seen enough to make a decision.
The outstanding juniors have shown themselves worthy repeatedly. So have the talented boys too, but not at the same level. For my team, the Tiges, I’d use picks #2 & #3 on Duff-Tytler and either of Sharp or Greeves. And I would trade one of our tall or medium-taller backs for a pick that will land Duncan Kelleway’s boy, who is not quite a tier one junior.
The Oz Footy Junior (U18s) Team of the Year is:
B: Burton, Dean, Kondogiannis
HB: Stevens, Duursma, Carmichael
C: Patterson, Sharp, Lindsay
HF: J.Murray, T.Murray, Cumming
F: Marsh, Schubert, Annable
R: Duff-Tytler, Greeves, Addinsall
I: Coulson, Dalton, Emmett, Kellaway
E: Ludowyke, Hudson, Hibbins-Harg
Again, for more detail on the U18 season for 2025, please refer Here.
Cheers

About
It was 25 years ago that I began developing a model for analysing footy squad lists for the purpose of improving those lists into a premiership window. Since then, the model has been used to successfully predict premiership clubs and to improve either lop-sided or underdeveloped lists into premiership lists. Indeed, the model was used for an article that I had published as a double page spread in The Age 2005 Pre-Season magazine. Over the 25 years, I have analysed the annual lists of one particular club but have used it for other clubs upon request. It has always been on my bucket list to display the lists of all the clubs, using the model, which I've done since 2021 on my website - OzFootyListManager.com
