TOMAHAWK CATAPULTS INTO THE LEAD

Hawkins scored eight votes in the AFL Coaches Player of the Year award by booting four goals in the Geelong victory.

  1. Dane Rampe won’t be able to improve on his tally of 20 votes, Rocket Rod.

Hasn’t he got a badly fractured hand ??

Amazing to see Hawk Breust so far down the list. I know the Squawks have had a miserable season.

But a total of three votes. with the h and a season almost over. Amazing.

  2. Yesss Edmund, sadly neither Rampe nor Isaac Heeney will be able to add to their tallies.
Dane was doing a rehab session at the recent Uni v Easts game at Henson Park in Sydney.
Hand in a bandage but cold can in hand clearly assisting his recovery.
In a nail-biter his old mob lost to Sydney Uni.

Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if the pair can make the Origin team based on their performances to date this season….
