Almanac Cricket (Book): ‘Citrus Bob’s Ashes Diary 2025-26’ – We just love cricket!

WE JUST LOVE CRICKET!
Five members of the fraternity under the banner of Citrus Bob’s Ashes Diary 2025-26 have put together their thoughts of each day’s play from the last Ashes test series.
This is the second time that Citrus Bob has combined with other like aficionados to make the most of what has been written over the summer game about an Ashes series.
Heather Lee, John Butler, Dan Lonergan and Russel Hansen have been the thoughtful writers on the game and in particular the lacklustre performance of the English team in what could be termed their annus horribilis. Not forgetting of course, the splendid performance of the Australian team led by front cover man Mitch Starc ‘the Destroyer’ of the series with 31 wickets and the Croweater twins of Travis Head and Alex Carey.
The book will definitely appeal to South Australians after the performances of Head and Carey.
The glossy coffee table book complete with photographs has all the matches covered in depth with final scorecards of each match. Statisticians and historians will love it as they won’t have to open a computer to get the full details of the Test series.
A rare treat in this day and age.
The cost of the book is $48.50 including postage and is available from Citrus Bob at [email protected] or if you see him at a footy match over the next couple of months.
