Almanac Chaos: (Football) Thought for the Day

Graeme Orr has been a friend and supporter of the Almanac for many years. Apart from being Professor of Law at the University of Queensland, he has a wide array of interests, including sport.

He recently suggested I might enjoy this BBC Sounds Thought for the Day.

By Reverend Jayne Manfredi, it’s a comment on VAR (Video Assistant Referee) which is part of soccer these days.

In the light of Dips O’Donnell’s recent essay on umpiring, this is definitely worth a listen. Read Dips’s piece HERE.
