
Sarah is the daughter of Mark and Nicole Poustie, long time friends of the Almanac. Sport is a big part of their family life. Earlier in 2024, Mark played in the interstate Veterans’ Cricket Carnival (with teammate, Ian Hammett, who is also an Almanac member).
Sarah played her junior footy at Hawthorn Citizens and is the first girl to be drafted from the club, which has also produced AFL players Noah Anderson, Ed Richards, and Nick Larkey.
