Almanac/Adelaide Uni FC Very Long Lunch: Friday (April 14) of Gather Round

 

 

The Footy Almanac is delighted that our many friends at the Adelaide University Footy Club (The Mighty Blacks) have invited us to their Very Long Lunch to take place on the Friday (April 14) of the AFL’s Gather Round.

Join us on April 14 at the Cathedral Hotel just near the Adelaide Oval.

Four hours of drinks, food, and an auction.

Guest speakers James Gallagher and Garry Winter (and maybe others) will be interviewed by Malcolm ‘Rulebook’ Ashwood and John Harms.

    I was once invited to an official function on the terrace of the NT parliament – as part of the Writers Week up there. Dress code: Territory Rig. I rang the protocols office to find out what that was. Bloke on the end of the phone laughed, “It’s whatever you bloody like mate.” And it was. Great night by the way.
