Easter Saturday
the untrustworthiness
of a half-time lead
another autumn
last season
that was a free kick
Easter Saturday
I look to the heavens
as Cloke lines up for goal
leaves fall the lightest of touches creates a goal
shadows from end to end an unbroken passage of play
autumn light
in sun or shade
Beams flitting
autumn dusk
the dwindling crowd
at ease
