AFL Round 4 – Richmond v Collingwood (Haiku Bob): shine of the dying sun

they fall and fall
at the feet of Cloke
autumn leaves

mid-April
the trees and the coach
turning red

autumn colour
the tattooed rover
adds his

leaves
between holding on and dropping
umpire says play-on

a goal
no one could miss
is missed

deep in the pocket
Cloke in the shine
of the dying sun

crisp autumn air
difference between the teams
clear-cut
