sun then cloud
the good and the bad
of watching this game
threatening sky
a long kick
in hope
mood darkening
the goal umpire
doesn’t move
deep winter
the centre half forward turns
a long way from home
winter evening
the path to goal
lost in the gloom
first star finally we hit the front
pale moon shadows of their former selves
About rob scott
Rob Scott (aka Haiku Bob) is a peripatetic haiku poet who calls Victoria Park home. He writes haiku in between teaching whisky and drinking English, or something like that.
Lovely HB. Thought this week’s Haiku might include the word “sphincter” somewhere.
indeed Dips.
although things were remarkably ‘relaxed’ in that area I must say.
I think I’ve let go.
