Here’s how the comps work:

(1) The AFL 2025 standard tipping comp:

The comp is called ‘2025 Footy Almanac AFL Tipping Comp’.

The password is Cats1925. If you are having any hassles (with the password), send me an email [email protected]

– highly prestigious
– cash prizes for the season’s winner and runner-up
– finishes at the end of the home and away season (after Round 24)
– a tie is NOT decided by the cumulative margin, there will be a play-off (involving the finals)

(2) The Time-honoured Footy Almanac Tip the Top 8 Competition

– pick the Top 8 in order (first to eighth) as you think they will finish at the end of the AFL home and away season, which is Round 24.
– cash prizes: winner and runner-up and an Almanac membership
– winner announced after the celebrated countdown at the Footy Almanac Grand Final Eve Lunch
– SEND YOUR ENTRY TO US VIA EMAIL
– entries close at bounce of the ball to start the AFL season – Brisbane v Geelong, March 6.
