Just before we bid a final farewell to the 2025 NRL season, here are some key dates for 2026 that you’ll want to add into your diary.

 

First of all, to see the dates and locations of the Men’s State of Origin matches click here. And, yes, Melbourne is back in the picture!

 

To see the dates and locations of the Women’s State of Origin matches click here. For the first time, a match will be played on the Gold Coast.

The full draw for the 2026 season will be released on Friday 14th November.

    on the topic of the 2026 NRL draw, Shane ‘Richo’ Richardson, these days CEO of the Wests Tigers made me chuckle yesterday – in response to the Tigers having the round 1 BYE 2 out of the past 3 years – “AI did the NRL draw? well then. AI needs to take a good look at itself!”
