Round 8 – Haiku Bob: whisky moon

three goals down
we complain
of the cold

remaining calm
amidst the raging rapids
Pendlebury

tight game
the last quarter begins
for the moon also

another year older
I brace myself
for a crushing defeat

Daicos swoops
the rest we know
by heart

from every seat
in the stadium
the winning goal

whisky moon
I let this victory
sink in
