Terry Daniher:  Friday 13th July 1:05pm 

 

Terry Daniher, an all time Champion of Essendon,  captained Essendon to 2 premierships in 84 & 85, and played 313 senior games. His playing achievements, highlights & honours are too numerous to list – he is one of the greats.

 

Terry is from the small NSW town of Ungarie near West Wyalong and he started playing both Aussie Rules & Rugby League. He played 19 games for South Melbourne before being traded to Essendon. Terry had 3 younger brothers who also played for Essendon – Neale, Anthony & Chris; and now Ungarie is home to the monument – ‘The Big Sherrin’ – a tribute to the Daniher brothers.

 

The always smiling Terry, is one of the most popular and respected Essendon and AFL personalities.
